Sugarcane bagasse is a byproduct of the sugar production process. During this process, sugarcane is crushed to extract juice, leaving behind fibrous bagasse. This bagasse is collected, dried, and ground into smaller particles. The ground material is then compressed and extruded through a pellet mill to form bagasse pellets. The physical and chemical characteristics of sugarcane bagasse make it an excellent resource for clients in the biogas, power, heat, and process heat production sectors.
